Florian Herzog (*1989) started studying double bass with Philippe Aerts at the Maastricht Conservatory and later at the Cologne University of Music with Dietmar Fuhr and Dieter Manderscheid.
He is an active member of the local and German Jazz scene, having worked with countless national and international musicians and artists before relocating to New York City. 
There he studied with Mark Turner and Drew Gress at New York University and is pursuing his own projects as well as a plethora of sideman activities.
